Beautiful parcel of land at Devanandal


This is a posting of a very beautiful parcel of land, previously agricultural, located in the peaceful, idyllic area of Devanandal. The land is approximately 1.75 acres in size and is gated. The perimeter of the land is protected by granite stones with barbed wire. The cost includes well which has a plentiful supply of sweet water.

To the left of the above photograph is a bund the other side of which has a large expanse of poramboke land which is used for grazing in the dry season and in the case of heavy rain, gets filled with water. The poramboke land can never get built on as it is a seasonal reservoir so provides a very nice buffer to this land parcel.

5 Acre Parcel (#2) Sirupakkam


The below series of photographs is of a 5 acre parcel of red soil land situated at Sirupakkam. The current owner has full patta title.

The land which is both suitable for organic and traditional farming, has a large agricultural well that has abundant sweet water throughout the year. Arunachala darshan is excellent.

11 Acre Agrcultural Land Parcel - Sirupakkam



The below is a series of photographs of a 11 acre parcel of agricultural land located at Sirupakkam (which lies southeast of Arunachala). The land has clear patta title and the owner is ready to sell immediately to a serious purchaser.

The land, which is red soil is exceptionally suitable for organic farming, although over the last years has been used for traditional farming such as paddy.

5 acres near Perubakam

This land is located about 2 kms from the rustic area of Perubakkam.






The 5 acre patta agricultural land is located from Arunachala by road about 7-8 kms and as the bird flies, about 5-6 kms from the Hill.There is a good direct access road to the land.








The land in this posting is 5 acres and adjacent to a small Temple Shrine dedicated to the Goddess. Also adjacent to the land is the start of a large tract of protected reserve forest.

This rustic, unspoilt agricultural area of Perubakkam by road is about 7 kms from the Hill, and as the bird flies, located at around 5 kms from Arunachala. There is a good direct access road to the land.

Ashram or Community

To reach the land you go down the Sathanur Dam roadway for about 7 kms and then turn right into the Arunachala countryside.

The below series of photographs are of pristine, agricultural land located south of Arunachala. Take the Sathanur Dam roadway for about 7 kms south and then turn right into the countryside -- which lays at the back of the Samudram Erie.

The land is flat except for a hilly mound surrounded by trees in which currently stands the shell of a simple house and a cow shed.









Water is in abundant supply and can be found at an easy level.






The beginning of Reserve Forest lies a couple of fields away from the land, making the whole area open and peaceful.












The land is about 10 kms from Tiruvannamalai which means it will be spared from developers, but is only about 6 kms from the base of Arunachala (as the crow flies).
